Why Do I Love You by Jim Lauderdale
I got this CD by mistake from the BMG CD club (remember them?) many years ago. I had never heard of Jim Lauderdale but started the CD once. The first song had a high twang factor. Even though I don't mind country music, I stopped listening and put the cd away for a long time. I later found out that Jim Lauderdale was a collaborator of Lucinda Williams whom I like a lot. Still didn't listen to the cd. After I got everything loaded to my ipod, this song came up on random play. I said "Good song. Who is this?"
