Sorry for being stuck in the '80s, but the Cyndi Lauper tune naturally led me to the Hooters. Band leaders Eric Bazilian and Rob Hyman wrote several of the songs on Lauper's "She's So Unusual" album. The Hooters had a brief run at fame, but faded away for some reason. They're one of those great "never quite hit big" bands, which doesn't mean that their music wasn't excellent.
