Dancing With Myself by Billy Idol (click to listen)Classic new wave. I first heard this circa 1982 when a local Blacksburg, Va. band named "The Twist" covered it. They were a good band and and their set list introduced me to some great new bands back then such as U2, the Psychedelic Furs, Split Enz, and the aforementioned Mr. Idol. I spent many minutes in crowded clubs pogoing to this song back then.
I like Billy Idol and his version of "Mony, Mony" ranks as one of the great cover songs ever.
