Living in a diverse county is interesting and often requires an amusing restraint in language. Case in point is a flyer above that we received in the mail for a new hair salon. Notice the pictures and the phrase "Specializing in All Types of Hair".
They have a message to send, that's inclusive and nice and not the least bit offensive. But they can't come right out and say it. Would you be offended if they simply said "We want to cut hair for people of both races"?
Me, I'm gonna head over there for my next haircut.
