Cal Ripken Jr.

Congratulations to my all time favorite baseball player, Cal Ripken Jr. on his well deserved election to the hall of fame. Cal has always seemed to be a thoughtful and nice guy. He handled his fame with a rare grace which I always admired and wish I could emulate. He's best known for playing in 2632 consecutive games but I think the most impressive statistic of his career was that in 1990, he played in 162 games at shortstop and made only 3 errors. Phenominal! I can't play catch for 15 minutes without a drop.
