Pure pop for now people

I've created my ultimate pop music playlist. In the new electronic music era, I rarely listen to albums. Usually I just put the ipod on shuffle and listen to whatever it picks. For a music voyeur like myself, I use the playlist as a means of expressing my creativity. I don't have the talent to make music, but I can pick a list of good songs. The playlist replaces the old mix tape.
Anyway, being a pop music fan, I created a playlist of all the "pop" songs that I like. I can't really define pop, but to paraphrase Justice Potter Stewart, I know it when I hear it. Usually it means jangly guitars, a strong lively beat, a catchy melody, and upbeat lyrics. I ended up with 78 songs on my playlist. It will probably fill 3 cds.
If there are any readers out there and you would like a copy, send me an email at dtodd1959@yahoo.com. I'll burn them and send them out to you. The only charge will be that if you like it, send me a cd of something you like. In honor of Nick Lowe, its named Pure Pop for Now People.

Anyway, here's the list:

If you like Girls Talk, try listening to Coverville 124 http://www.coverville.com/archives/2005/08/coverville_124.html
The Elvis Costello Cover Story. It includes Elvis C and Dave E versions side by side for comparison - if you haven't heard both.
