One Step Over the Line by Rosanne Cash and John Hiatt with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Here's another hard to find Rosanne Cash duet. This one's with my personal fave, John Hiatt and comes from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Will the Circle Be Unbroken 2 album. The NGD Band's "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" album came out somewhere around 1970 and brought together then current "alt-country" hippie artists with country music pioneers such as Mother Maybelle Carter (Rosanne's step-Grandmother)and the Carter Family with the goal of bridging the generation gap with the common language of music. In the '90s, they put together a follow up that contained many interesting duets such as this one. Its a good song if you are a fan of one or both of them.
